Taking a look at the best football blog articles. This week Phil Collins’ rubbish football song, Neville swears at Rooney, Las Vegas soccer plans and more…

Not sure how I ever missed this classic from Phil Collins’ back catalogue, but turns out he wrote a song about Match of the Day. It also turns out that this week Collins decided to retire from the music business. I’m sure it has nothing to do with Narrow the Angle‘s mockery.

We all know Gary Neville is a red, is a red, is a red, but this week he proved it by travelling to Stamford Bridge to watch Manchester United play against Chelsea. As shown by Off the Post, the recently retired player joined the travelling supporters in the away end and got a bit frustrated when Wayne Rooney missed a chance.

Las Vegas are desperate to get a sporting team and the MLS is league that they are wanting to enter a team into. This week they revealed their plans for a stadium and it looks pretty nice, WV Hooligan calls it ‘stadium porn’.

Argentina have got a new kit and it’s pretty cool. It’s an old skool throwback and it definitely helps that they’ve got the world’s best player to show it off. Spotted on Ole

Remember Jordan Stewart? He used to play for Leicester, amongst other English clubs. Now he’s at Greek club Skoda Xanthi. In this interview on In Bed With Maradona he talks about the standard of football and adjusting to life in a new country.
